Sales Executive
RGIS has developed a revolutionary space productivity tool over the last 4 years and is looking for the right individual to lead our global efforts to bring this to market. Our patented store mapping product will significantly increase the profits of our retail clients by optimizing the use of store space.

The selected individual may be based anywhere in the U.S., with access to a major airport, as extensive travel is required.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of direct retail or CPG manufacturer selling experience to Vice President and C-level contacts
- Bachelor degree required; Masters degree preferred
- Retail software solution selling experience strongly preferred
- Established retailer and CPG manufacturer relationships in the area of Space planning or optimization
- Experience with retail category management, micro and macro space planning and retail space optimization preferred.
- Consistent successful track record of achieving annual assigned sales quota
- Proven success in customer interaction, customer service and deal closing
- Demonstrated strategic acumen during elongated sales cycle
- Ability to plan, direct and redirect during strategic sales engagements
- Capability to successfully collaborate with internal team members
- Ability to communicate at a highly effective level, via customer facing, phone or e-mail engagements
- Intuitively understand when to invite superiors and subordinates into a sales cycle to increase opportunities for a successful close
Required Responsibilities
- Maintains and develops relationships with existing customers
- Markets store mapping products and macro space solutions
- Prospects and develops new business opportunities
- Acts as a contact between RGIS and its existing and potential markets
- Gains a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales
- Gathers market and customer information
- Represents the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Advises on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Acts as liaison with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders
- Monitors own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Makes accurate and expedient cost calculations; providing customers with quality quotes demonstrating a sound sales proposition, while benefiting the company
- Provides future buying trends to the company
- Works with multiple internal parties to develop winning sales strategies
