Training and Development Specialist

The Training and Development Specialist (TDS) is an hourly employee reporting directly to the District Manager or Personnel Manager. The TDS is responsible for recruiting, hiring and training of the district hourly staff. TDS is responsible for achieving and maintaining staffing levels as set by the District Manager as well as increase retention of hourly employees within the district. Duties will include the implementation of all Company and customer specific training programs, conducting in-store training, maintaining personnel files, coordinating Team Leader and other advanced training and conducting 90 day/100 hour reviews for new employees. The TDS also works with the Division Training and Development Manager in the development of recruiting, hiring and training initiatives to enhance the Division’s overall retention rates.
